VSS80 is a simple vocal switcher of 8 channels.
It specialized only basic feature based on a concept of standard VSS8881 and realized large cost-down.
However, as for the input, for 8ch, and the master cut is implemented, too.
Additionally, in the switching of the audio, sound quality change was not avoided by the active circuit using the VCA, but solved this problem using extremely little CDS of the sound quality deterioration in VSS80.

“Controller”
The select logic is one any one or the multiple types that it can choose in 8.
The chosen channel is mixed, and it is output by the selected out of the main frame.
It can choose the mode of the multiple selection just to press the multiple buttons simultaneously.
Additionally, it can reset all the channels which were select with a master cut switch.
This control logic is the same as VSS8881 which is a higher model.

“I/O”
It implements the 2P phone jack of unbalanced specifications to front panel as I/O of the audios and it just patches it if it mounts it on patch bay and can use it.
Additionally, the remote controller does not need the wiring work because it can be connected to the front panel.

As related products of VSS80, there are VSS8881 with cross-fade, VSS800 with mix out and CSP380 of stereo specifications.
