AF225A is 2ch VCA unit.
The remote control of the audio level of high quality allows it by excellent circuit configuration and component.
It integrated AF225 as the VCA fader with AF125 which had been used as cough interface and was rebeared as AF225A.

“Input and output”
It implements audio input and output of XLR and Dsub25-F connecter in conformity with AF125 and the Dsub15-F connector which are compatible with AF225.
The input and output level is set to 1 to 1 in factory, but can change it in the range of +/-6dB in a trim of the front panel.
In addition, the standard audio input and output reference level is +4dBu, but can change it when it has you specify it at the time of an order.

“AF125 mode”
It allows the cough control of 2 channels with 1 cough if it connects in parallel in control port because it implements 2ch.
When it uses it in combination with cough unit AF124, it works as cut interface of the ON/OFF action.
It is an ON/OFF action, but there is not the generation of the click noise in the VCA because it Fade-ins and fade-out in a short time.
Additionally, it is not necessary to prepare a power supply extra because it is possible for the power supply supply for AF124.
Additionally, forced ON or forced OFF is possible regardless of control with the cough, too.

“AF225 mode”
When it controls a level in external fader, the CV circuit (the control voltage) of difference input resisting a noise promises a certain action for even long distances more than 20m.
Additionally, it implements the cut input that was photocoupler isolation every each channel.

“Others”
AF225A allows the systems construction that combined CV fader unit FU338 or cough unit AF124.
