AF239 is the cross-fade unit which can switch a program source of the dual by a tarry signal.
At the time of the return from a subprogram to a main program, the subprogram switches while doing fade-out.
It provides by the control output to an external player and the control input from an external controller.
It can apply it to the automatic CM insertion, emergency broadcasting system, a narration system widely.

“Operation pattern 1”
Input 1 is output on the initial state.
It switches to input 3 when it exceeds THRESHOLD after the time when it set it in DETECT when the same signal is input into input 1 and input 2.
It outputs PLAY command for external players to GPI2 port at the same time.
When input 2 disappears in this state, it returns to input 1 automatically, and input 3 fade-outs.
It outputs STOP command to a GPI-2 port when it decayed to -75dB.

“Operation pattern 2”
Input 1 is output with the initial state.
A level of input 1 decreases and switches to input 3 when it exceeds THRESHOLD after the time when it set it in DETECT.
When a level of input 1 grows in this state more than about 6dB than THRESHOLD, it returns to input 1, and input 3 fade-outs.
The operation of the GPI-2 port is the same as pattern 1.

“Operation pattern 3”
Input 1 is output with the initial state.
When an SET command is input from a GPI-1 port, it switches to input 3.
When RESET command is input in this state, it returns to input 1, and input 3 fade-outs.
In addition, it can do a thing same as the trigger action with the audio such as pattern 1 and 2 by STATUS input.
To front panel, it implements the button of the function same as a GPI-1 port.
In addition, the action of the GPI-2 port is the same as pattern 1.
