CSP177 is stereo microphone preamplifier developed for the purpose of automatically dispensing with all operation.
It can control proper level without even excessive input being distorted by automatic gain microphone preamplifier and master limiter.
It is most suitable for the scene of large dynamic ranges such as sports.

“Microphone preamplifier”
As for the mic input of 2ch, 48V phantom is possible, and, having gain control range of about 40dB, input is possible at the maximum to about +19dBu.
When gain is insufficient, +30dB can up by the preamplifier output with internal jumper.
Additionally, it can adjust threshold of compressor with front panel.

“Master”
The output of microphone preamplifier is sent to master limiter via level trim of front panel.
It is set for factory setting in +7dBu (+3VU), and there cannot be thing more than these levels even if mic input level goes up.
It can set threshold of master limiter with front panel, too.
(there is stereo link switch of master limiter inside, too)

“Mono mode”
One channel assumes inoperative case and mono mixes 2 microphone preamplifier and can output it.

“Output”
It distributes the master output and is outputting 4 path.
Additionally, it can confirm output level by VU meter of high visibility.

“Others”
Oscillator for line check and master limiter adjustment is built in it.
Additionally, it has implemented headphone monitor for output confirmation.
