CSP301 is the digital audio format converter which can change the channel status.
In addition, it provides in the bit activity indicator indicating the number of bits of input audio data.

“Digital input”
The input of CSP301 can choose 3 kinds of AES/EBU, an optical and the coaxial.

“Input signal indication”
It indicates the clock of a chosen input signal and channel status.
LED indicated by professional or a consumer format is different.
In addition, in the case of serious errors such as a by phase error, the PLL unlocking, error LED turns on.
In the case of +-400ppm precision, the clock indication turns on and does not turn on when it is worse.

NONE-AUDIO turns on in the case except audio data.
A category cord turns on in a DAT case, and CATEGORY with the consumer mode turns off the light with the CD.
GENERATION shows the generation of the data called L bit and, in the case of an original, turns on with the DAT and turns off the light with a CD and the MD.

“bit activity, CS indication”
It indicates 0, 1 and 3 bytes of the channel status when a category changeover switch of the front panel is the GENERAL side.
Left and right is independent and indicates active bit when it changes it to the DAT side.
There is not the association with the signal level and shows this indication how many bits of audio data there is.
In the state of the bit display mode, the channel status indication becomes invalid, and the output signal follows the categorical switch.

“Output format setting”
As for the output signal, V and the U bit output an input signal in through, but can set some channel status with front panel.
With 4 toggle switch, it can change professional, a consumer, sampling frequency, emphasis and a category.
The default setting except it is all 0 other than the ones which it can set with a switch with the professional format.
With a consumer format, it is copy permission and an original mode.

“Others”
The independent buffer output implements 4 for an optical and coaxial with 2 for AES, and these are available simultaneously.

“Attention”
CSP310 is a product for professional to use in a recording studio, a broadcasting station and postproduction.
Therefore, do not use it for the purpose of violating the SCMS.
