CSP308A is a 2:1 change-over unit suitable for NTSC – BB and 48kHz WORD clock.
A control panel and the operation method easy to understand allow quick emergency support.

“Input-output”
All the input-output of BB and WORD is BNC connectors.
The BB output is 4 distribution, and the WORD output is 8 distribution.
It outputs a chosen signal.
In addition, it handles the WORD input as an error when it is less than 0.5Vpp.

“Misoperation prevention”
When it operates a switch of the front panel, it must press the status lock key located the left of the panel together.

“Changeover action”
MANUAL mode and PRIMARY are chosen at the time of the power-up.
It does not do error monitoring in this state.
It clears an error condition and starts monitoring when it presses the AUTO button.
It is replaced by PRI automatically even if it chooses the SEC then by MANUAL.
When PRI is the error during monitoring, it sounds an alarm buzzer and activates an alarm relay.
When the SEC causes an error even if PRI is an error then, it is not replaced.

“Error indication”
It handles BB of pri, WORD of pri, BB of sec, WORD of sec as an error according to the result that calculated ‘OR’.

“Reset”
It can turn off the alarm buzzer by manual operation during error outbreak.
The alarm relay is not canceled until it presses the ERROR/RESET button.
When it presses the ERROR/RESET button, it returns to power up condition.

“Power supply”
It can be driven in parallel at two AC100V lines.
When an AC line of PRI is down, it is replaced by the SEC line automatically.
