CSP975 is an impedance converter of 110Ω:75Ω that were compatible with a sample rate of 192kHz.
It is available for the case that a long distance wants to transmit a signal of the XLR output to and conversion of the physical interface.

“Effect”
In the case of 100m, there are differences more than 3 times for change of the eye diagram when it transmitted XLR of 110 Ω in BNC of 75 Ω and the generation of the jitter with the cable.
(cf. Peak to Peak Jitter of the picture)
It is the result that the reference data connect a cable of 100m to each input and output of XLR and BNC in Tektronix AM700 and measured.
It is a result with the output level of the 1V PP, but change of the waveform, amount of jitter make all a great difference.
